Born in Bari in 1972,  after rock experiences, begin the study of electric bass, musical theory and double-bass. He has attended  many workshops and master-classes with: Mark Murphy, Gianni Basso, Bob Mover, Massimo Manzi, Saturnino, Elvin Jones , Dave Liebman, Olivier Benoit, John Patitucci, Egberto Gismonti , John Surman, Trilok Gurtu, Dhafer Youssef. During the last years has increased the collaboraions with musicians & bands out the jazz area, exploring different approaches to music, from latin-jazz to r’n’b, from blues to alternative and indie-rock.
He has collaborated with many musicians like Gaetano Partipilo, Bob Mover, Tony Castellano, Halicia Cooper, Mary Hubert, Nicola Stilo, Bruno Marini, Stefano Bollani, Steve Ferraris, Mia Cooper, Fabrizio Bosso, Ramon Gomez, Steve Lacy , Gianluca Petrella, Antonello Salis, Javier Girotto, Rosalia De souza, Roberto Ottaviano, Maurizio Giammarco, Marc Ribot, Marco Tamburini, John Medesky.
In the 1997 his debut in the discographic world as composer, arranger &  bass performer with a band named "Balanço" that has released different albums. In autumn of 1999 publishes his first really solo album "Dado Ensemble" followed in 2002 by his etno-jazz project called "Venus Mandala".
Since the 2000 he is part of The Bumps, and now he is working on his new solo-project "Dado Magnetico" with a new alternative-rock sound. He his interested in eastern philosophy and Yoga, and also writes short stories, poetries and metaphysical songs.
